Fitness Boot Camp

Tired of the usual gym scene? Join me for my outdoor fitness boot camp where I combine plyometrics, body weight exercises with interval training and strength training.

Allow me to push you harder than you would push yourself!

Easy Group Runs

Come join me for an easy run along Cary's Black Creek Trail. The pace will be about a 9 - 10 minute mile pace. This is a comfortable pace for those of you who are just getting back into running. Depending on how everyone is feeling, I will add a little challenge towards the end of the course.

Neuromuscular Stretching Workshop

This workshop is designed to provide you with hands-on instruction for applying appropriate stretching technique. These techniques will help to improve muscle imbalances, postural distortions, soft tissue extensibility, and neuromuscular control. We will talk about the basic principle involved and how it will help benefit you in your day-to-day lifestyle.

Plyometrics

I have combined explosive plyometrics and cardio to make for an effective, calorie-burning workout. All exercises have low impact modifications. Plyometric exercises are high intensity exercises that help develop athletic power, strength and speed. Cardio exercises help to condition the heart and thus build endurance. Although challenging, all are welcome.

Circuit Training

During this class I will take you through a series of exercise stations, sometimes with brief rest intervals in between. The emphasis will always be strength, muscular endurance, aerobic conditioning or a combination of all three.

There will always be variety in the type of circuit. Therefore, you will consistently remain challenged.

Zumba Basic

Zumba Instructor Network - Alexis Foy - Cary, NCZUMBA is a Latin-inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music and dance movements, creating a dynamic, exciting, exhilarating, and effective fitness system. A ZUMBA class, also known as a ZUMBA Fitness Party, combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body using an aerobic/fitness approach to achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits.
